What's behind the tile.

Every quote you get will show you tile. This is the part that decides whether the shower is still dry in ten years, and it is the part almost nobody puts in writing. Here is ours, in order.

01 Demo to the framing

The old pan, the old surround and anything wet behind them come out. We check the framing and add blocking wherever something is going to hang.

02 Cement board

On every wall in the wet area. Not green board, not drywall with a coat of something over it.

03 Mud bed floor

Built from sand mix and sloped by hand so the fall to the drain is right from every direction, not just the one you can see.

04 FloFX drain

Set into the mud bed and tied into the waterproofing rather than sitting on top of it.

05 Taped joints

Every seam and every corner covered with cement tape and thinset. Corners are where showers fail.

06 Two coats of Hydro Ban

Laticrete Hydro Ban over all of it — walls and floor — before a single tile goes up. We don't use a pan liner.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — we’re fully insured (general liability) and specialize in the craftsmanship side of a remodel: tile, waterproofing, vanities, and finish work. For plumbing and electrical, we work with a trusted network of licensed Florida pros who’ve partnered with us for years. They handle their part (permits included); we coordinate everything so you have one team to talk to.

How long does a full bathroom remodel take?

Most master baths take 2–4 weeks from demo to final walk — including any plumbing or electrical. Powder rooms are typically 5–8 working days. You’ll get a written schedule before we start so there are no surprises.

What does a remodel typically cost in Tampa?

You’ll receive a clear, itemized estimate covering every part of your project. Every project is quoted individually based on size, materials, and scope. The best way to get your number is a free in-home estimate — we’ll leave you with a clear, itemized written quote.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes — 2 years on all workmanship (tile, waterproofing, finishes). Plumbing and electrical work is warranted by the licensed pros who installed it. Manufacturer warranties cover materials and fixtures.

How are permits handled?

Easy — you don’t have to think about them. When permits are required (typically for plumbing or electrical changes), the licensed pro doing that work pulls them as part of their scope. Most tile, waterproofing, and finish work doesn’t require a permit; we’ll tell you upfront if anything in your project does.
